Still Thinking About Sass

While we have not been active on the blog or Facebook, we think about Sass all the time.  Many of you may have seen the story recent about the red panda at the National Zoo that went missing from his enclosure.  He was found in the Adams Morgan neighborhood of DC the next day, when someone called after having spotted him under a bush.  (The National Zoo's page on Rusty is here.)  Sass first went missing in Adams Morgan, and headed for the Zoo (which is a part of Rock Creek Park), and I did hope/wonder if the Zoo asking for all those people to keep an eye out might turn up a sighting of Sass.

There will always be hope.

  2. I think of Sassafras everyday and I pray for her everyday. Praying for her gives me hope for her return home. My heart goes out to you.

  3. I had to write to you again. I just finished watching Darling Companion about a lost dog and in it a woman says 'you have to stay focus, the moment you lose hope is the moment your chances of getting him back disappears'. Then I read your last message 'There will always be hope'. I know it's a movie I am talking about but some can be inspirational and hopeful. I was thinking of Sass throughout the movie. We will all hold on to hope.
I don't know if it is true for dogs but would there be a chance that she would return to familiar places like the zoo or parks she has been in? There will always be hope. Xo
