ABC 7 News picks up Sass story

Thanks again to everyone who has helped spread the word. The media response is rather amazing.

ABC 7 (Suzanne Kennedy) ran a story earlier today... Please see and circulate

There may be more media this evening as Fox News was over and may run a story on the 10;00 or 11:00 PM news.

  1. We've been in touch with Bob, who posted a comment on the ABC 7 news sight. He's going to try to get a picture and we'll touch in with him tomorrow.

"I work at Belmont TV in Laurel, Md. There has been a dog that looks like a Beagle and has been running loose this week and last week. It looks similar to the dog on the news. It has been at the old RoadWay lot. A road crew has just set up and hopefully has not run the dog off."

  2. It is ironic that the idiots making these calls actually have helped in the Sassafras search - - by providing an angle to get coverage of Sassafras in the media. So, compliments to you both for making lemons into lemonade.

  3. @Darren, exactly why we are putting ourselves out there for the media - the more people who see her picture and hear that she needs to be found, the better!

  4. I saw your story on the news last night. I hope you get your dog back safely, and I am sorry you are getting such horrible calls from such horrible people. Our dog slipped out of her collar on a busy road near our house and we were so fortunate that several kind and caring people helped us catch her. Don't give up and don't be discouraged by the people calling. They have clearly never been blessed by the love of an animal or they wouldn't be so stupid.

  5. @TRR, thank you. The news media hasn't been so interested in hearing about all the people who have been helping us with the search, but there are many of them. It's comments like yours that help us stay positive, and help keep us going.
